Last saturday in july I did something that was an absolute first for me. It was one of those “one day I will…” dreams that I finally made real. I had booked a stand in an art market in the nearby town Præstø, to show and sell my paintings, prints and cards. It was a very rewarding experience. Even the weather behaved exellent in spite of a nasty forecast.  By my side was Rose who sold felted bags for a friend of hers. Here are some glimpses…

Above is The family-factory (including my husband-“photographer/websupport/and soooo much more) around the kitchen table putting cards and prints in cellofan-bags. It took me weeks and lots of work to get it all ready.

Teamwork seems more and more important these days. I was so happy to share this experience with my very skilled friend Rose (left).

A big thank you to everyone who came and helped make this an absolutely enjoyable and unforgettable experience. Thanks for help with the tent, including Gaffa tape securing it from blowing off the gorund, for coffees and “smørrebrød” served with kindness, for buying so many cards and paintings, for supportive and kind words and for simply coming along! And a big thank you to my husband who saw the artstreet add in the newspaper and encouraged me to join in!
